Microsoft has released cumulative update KB5073097 (Build 28020.1371) for Windows 11 version 26H1. This update is available to insiders on the Canary channel and represents a small set of general improvements and fixes aimed at improving system stability and quality of work.

• Start menu. Fixed an issue where selecting an item inside a pinned shortcuts folder in the Start menu could cause the entire folder to become invisible in the menu.
• File Explorer. Fixed a bug where for some insiders, File Explorer caused brief "white flashes" when navigating between pages (in dark theme) after installing the previous build.
• Input. Fixed an issue where the keyboard character repeat delay parameter in Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Keyboard worked opposite to the set value.
• Other. Fixed an internal issue that could cause the PC to freeze when trying to run Windows Terminal with elevated privileges from an account without administrator rights. Also fixed a bug where the Share dialog could unexpectedly show an option to send to Shell Experience Host.

Known issues: a new issue — the watermark on the desktop shows the wrong build number.

Installation via Windows Update Center: go to Settings > Windows Update and click Check for updates. A system reboot is required to complete the installation.
