Microsoft has released cumulative update KB5127758 (Build 26220.9606) for Windows 11, version 25H2, for Insiders in the Beta Channel. The update changes the set of widgets on the lock screen and brings one fix.

- Lock screen widgets. Weather is now shown as the main widget, and there is less recommended content. At the same time, users get more options to choose which widgets to keep on the lock screen: this is done in Settings > Personalization > Lock screen.
- Fix in msmpeg2ac3dec.dll. Fixed an issue that caused some apps and games to crash. The same fix is included in build 26340.9616 of the Experimental Channel.
To install the update through Windows Update, go to Settings > Windows Update and click Check for updates. A restart of your computer is required to complete the installation.
