Microsoft released cumulative update KB5083728 for Windows 11 version 25H2, intended for Insiders on the Beta Channel. How to download and install KB5083728 (25H2) Build 26220.8271.

When Location services are turned off, the Default location and Allow location override settings are now displayed as inactive (dimmed) and unavailable — apps and services will not receive location data until Location services are enabled.

• Icons in the File Explorer search box. Updated the placement of icons in the File Explorer search box, now displayed consistently across different PCs.

• Navigation pane for Voice Access. Improved work with the navigation pane for Voice Access users.
• Windows Hello Fingerprint. Improved reliability and performance of Windows Hello Fingerprint sign-in after the PC wakes from sleep mode.
• Clipboard history. Improved speed of opening clipboard history.
• Leelawadee UI font family. Updated the Leelawadee UI font family for Thai, Lao, Khmer languages and the Lontara script. Improved glyph sequencing, positioning, and rendering.

Installing update KB5083728 (25H2) Build 26220.8271 is done through Windows Update: go to Settings > Windows Update and click Check for updates. A system restart is required to complete the installation.
